This weekend I got a wonderful treat, a visit to the children's museum with grandma! We were supposed to go to the zoo but the weather started out overcast and rainy. Since mommy had talked up the zoo (about how I was going to see lions and lizards and giraffes and swans and get to run around outside all day) I was none too happy about a change in plans but alas the museum did not disappoint! They had an entire floor devoted to toddlers (that’s me!) with miniature houses and trucks and slides and tunnels. I spent hours running from one activity to the next wearing out grandma and especially pregnant mommy. Although there were tons of toys to grab my attention, I had a sweet spot for the miniature house with the picnic table inside (hint to my architect father that I might want one of my own custom houses in the backyard, just a thought...). Downstairs there were some really neat exhibits and activities but I was too young for most of them. After getting run over by a 'big kid' in the pretend ambulance and crying we decided to call it a day but boy did I have fun!

Thank you for a fun day Grandma!
